High Jinks
Frenchman breaks law, endangers team mates, has a good laugh

It looks like C-Ron wasn’t the only one to have an automotive accident yesterday. Bayern Munich are still enjoying their long winter break in Dubai, and according to German rag Bild, Franck Ribery decided it would be good fun to take the team bus for a spin. Uh oh.

The midfielder, who had one hundred stitches in his face after a car crash as a two-year-old, did a lap of the hotel with the entire team on board. Before long, he smashed through two road signs and scarped the curb before putting an end to his own high jinks.
The hotel were left fuming by the damage and the fact that Ribery didn’t have a bus driving licence, and embarrassed Bayern general manager Uli Hoeneß had to suffer the consequences of Ribery’s prankery.

Right-Hand Drive Issues
Man City forward fears driving in the UK

The Premier League’s most expensive player isn’t averse to taking a helicopter to training, so we were all surprised in his decision to take a bus to a Manchester shopping centre a few weeks ago. Team mate Jo, however, has revealed that the use of public transport wasn’t an act of eco consciousness or humility, but because the Brazilian is terrified of driving on the correct side of the road:
“I’ll tell you why Robinho got the bus. It’s because he hasn’t learned how to drive on the left-hand side of the road yet. He only knows how to drive on the right.”
We’re not too sure about this excuse. Has he not learned how to hail a taxi or employ a driver on the left hand side of the road either?
Spoiler bonus: Observe the correct use of a bus after the jump…

Public Transport Fan
Extraordinarily rich man decides to travel with the proles

According to The Sun, the Premier League’s best paid player recently shunned luxurious private transportation and used an extremely small portion of his £140,000 per week wages to catch a bus to Manchester’s Trafford Shopping Centre:
The £32million Brazilian superstar has been using the public transport system to take his girlfriend on shopping trips.
One traveller said: “He sat downstairs as if it was the most normal thing for a multi-millionaire footballer to do. Word quickly went round about who he was. Nobody quite believed it and some just stared open-mouthed.
This is an exceptionally humble mode of transport for a man who thinks nothing of taking a helicopter to work. Could it be that the affluent Brazilian is attempting to save the planet by travelling green?
