It’s easy to forget that not all beautiful ladies get the chance to become WAGs, and even when they do, their stint as the most lucky woman alive can be short lived. Beyonce Knowles, Helen of Troy and Jenny Agutter are just three gorgeous girls who never made it to a footballer’s arm. Even great lookers like Danielle Lloyd and Charlotte Mears have had their thrones in the pantheon of WAGs snatched away from them. And so has this sexy lady, Maria Mazza.

An Italian model, Maria has been photographed more times than we care to imagine, and she once appeared on Italian television bouncing around on a space hopper.

So who was the lucky man she used to go out with? Why, it was Francesco Totti.

Should-be-WAGs hit the town… 

For those of you too busy watching one of cable television’s numerous sports channels over the weekend, you might have forgotten to leave the house. You didn’t miss much really, except some beautiful August drizzle, Danielle Lloyd showing the world her knickers at Embassy nightclub (above), and Charlotte Mears parading around Faces in Essex, probably looking for another footballer to snog. She looked busty (after the jump).

It feels somehow wrong, these girls not being part of the important WAG dynasty. The Spoiler misses them. So here’s a message to the likes of Dos Santos, Jo, even recently divorced Deco - why not take one of our girls for a spin?

Lloyd comes highly recommended, if a little bit racist at times. Bless her.

It’s all betrayal and fake tans in the world of Waggery

When beset by heartache, it is often best to confide in someone. In reaction to her separation with three-timing serial WAG boffer Jermain Defoe, Danielle Lloyd has done exactly that, by sharing her pain with the readers of The Daily Star:

‘It was my decision to finish it and I am happy to be single again. After the story broke, I just couldn’t trust him. I empathise with Cheryl. It is horrible when you are in love with someone and you find out they have betrayed you.’

By rutting other ladies without a care in the world, Defoe hardly gave you much choice in finishing the relationship, Dani. And yes it is horrible to be betrayed by your lover - just ask Charlotte Meares, the WAG he betrayed to go out with you!

Romantic settings are hard to come by in this vicious war-torn world. There’s the Empire State Building (Hanks/Ryan territory), the Eiffel Tower (a Crouch/Clancey favourite), beachy sunsets (any idiot who travels to Thailand in their “gap year”) and, of course, Embassy nightclub in fashionable London. It’s the place where Jermain Defoe practices his romance.
