Is Jose Mourinho eyeing up the Tottenham job?

Inter boss to seek gainful employment in the UK

Sleepy Jose

After a 4-0 pummeling of Roma on Sunday, Jose Mourinho’s Inter Milan are cruising at the top of of Serie A, and on the day that Juande Ramos dug his hole a little deeper, the Portuguese used a post-match press conference to announce his intention to return to our tiny island:

“I like difficult things. After Inter I will return to England, but I want to win here first.

“I have a contract with Inter, but when that finishes I will definitely return to the Premier League, I like it a lot.”

It’s feasible that The Special One could come and help Tottenham win a game (a “difficult thing”), but Piers Morgan’s Mail on Sunday column yesterday gave insight to another potential, and perhaps more likely employer. The shameless reality TV star former newspaper editor claimed to have sat next to Rio Ferdinand at a recent charity dinner, who said there was only one man who could take over at Old Trafford when Fergie retires: Jose Mourinho.

Where do you think Jose will end up? Let us know with a comment below.

Chelsea under pressure at hungry Everton

Chelsea will look to continue their meek title challenge this evening at Goodison Park, where Everton haven’t lost since The Blues’ last visit in January. The Mersey side also find themselves with five points fewer than they need, and will be putting up a big fight for fourth place.

This match could really go either way and if you’re thinking of placing a few quid on it, visit chickendinner first.

Vote: Will Chelsea win the Premier League?

Will Mr Expressionless could bag JT and the boys another title

John Terry

Just a few short weeks ago, Chelsea were the team who had crashed out of two cups and who were destined for a forgettable season (by their standards, that is). Now, they have leapfrogged deadlock-lovin’ Arsenal to become second favourites in the title race, and also third favourites to claim a first Champions League title.

Manchester United and Arsenal have yet to visit Stamford Bridge, where both will be charged with breaking Chelsea’s 77 game unbeaten home run. In what is shaping up to be one of the more interesting seasons in recent memory, can the Blues put another twist in the tale by diverting the trophy from its likely Manchester destination? Vote now!
