Porto fans rob Cristiano Ronaldo’s CR7 fashion store

Angry Dragões relieve frustration with some petty theft

Those who want to dress like Cristiano Ronaldo - ie everybody - can achieve his fierce look with a visit to one of his CR7 boutiques. The Madeira branch of his fashion chain, however, received some unwelcome visitors this week.

Angry at the manner in which they were knocked out of the Champions League, Porto sent three of their campest metrosexual fans to the store to cause unrest. The gentlemen filled three knapsacks with various items of overpriced crap hats, belts and shirts, before saying some very mean things about the tricky winger to his sister Elma, who runs the store.

Fortunately, police arrested the chic offenders later in the day, and also foiled a second robbery plot involving up to ten men.

Cristiano Ronaldo opens a new fashion boutique in Madrid

Winger will have somewhere to go after training next season

CR7 Madrid

Last summer we were the first to tell you about CR7, the fashion boutique that Cristiano Ronaldo opened in Madeira and gave to his sister Elma. Since then, the Manchester Utd star has opened another CR7 in Lisbon, and the Spanish press are today getting their knickers in a twist over the location of the next store: Madrid.

The front page of sports paper Marca says he is to bring his fabulous fashion sense to the Spanish capital, and that this is yet another indication of his strong desire to play for Real madrid next season.

Marca also suggests that the store may be named ‘CR9′, as the only way he could wear a number seven shirt at Real would be if he pried it from Raul’s cold, dead hands. It just so happens that he has also trademarked the CR9 name.

While C-Ron has made little attempt to disguise his desire to play in La Liga, The Spoiler has discovered that the new store opening may not be as indicative of a summer transfer as Marca believe. According to the official CR7 site, there are plans to open stores in Paris, Milan, Madrid, London, Berlin, Prague, Tokyo and Los Angeles. (Sorry Manchester, no silver hotpants and Freddie Mercury jackets for you.)

Has Ronaldo picked his Real Madrid squad number?

Tricky winger shotguns number 9 shirt

Raul and Cristiano Ronaldo

This week, Cristiano Ronaldo told journalists at the FIFA World Player of the Year Gala that he “has been learning” Spanish, and today some further hints of a summer move to Madrid have been dropped.

Ronaldo likes to stick his “CR7″ moniker on everything - his Portuguese boutique, the seats of his cars, his WAGs earrings - but he would almost certainly not be able to wear number 7 in Spain, as that belongs to Real Madrid legend Raul. The Sun say the Manchester Utd star has now taken the precautionary measure of trademarking “CR9″, perhaps implying he has earmarked Javier Saviola’s shirt number.

The trademark, however, was actually registered by C-Ron’s agent shit-stirring Jorge Mendes, which means the whole thing could just be another rouse designed to destabilise his position at Manchester Utd…

Revealed: Cristiano Ronaldo’s fashion boutique

Deck yourself out like a hooker-lovin’ footballer at CR7

CR7 Boutique

Ever wanted to know where you can get the tiny swimshorts, effeminate manbags and Freddie Mercury-esque jackets that drip from Cristiano Ronaldo’s Adonis-like frame? Your search is over, friends, as you can head to CR7, Cristiano’s very own fashion boutique.

Located in his hometown of Funchal, Madeira, the winger bought the store for his 34-year-old sister Elma two years ago.

CR7 Boutique

It may look like a neglected high street charity shop from the outside, but on the inside it’s just like one of those fancy modern minimalist boutiques that no one actually ever buys anything in.

More pictures of Ronny, his store and the CR7 fashion show after the jump…

Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘heart belongs at Old Trafford’

Manchester Utd star toys with fans’ emotions once again

Cristiano Ronaldo

Just a few short weeks ago, Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo was telling the world how he would love nothing more than to go and join his dream club:

“I would like to play for Real Madrid, but only if it is true that they are ready to pay what Manchester United ask of them, however it does not depend on me.”

Yet Ronaldo’s sister Elma has been approached by The Sun in the posh Madeira boutique he bought for her - aptly named ‘CR7′ - and she says her brother wishes to stay with the club who developed him into a world class player:

“Cristiano wants to keep playing at Manchester United […]He tells me he likes Manchester United and everybody here wants him to stay there.”

Either Ronny’s sister has got the wrong end of the stick and was trying to make an aggressive journalist leave her store by telling him what he wants to hear, or he is playing some very irritating mind games. Whatever the case, the club and the player need to stop dicking around and make a clear decision.
