World Cup winner shows he’s not made of stone
Much has been made of Emmanuel Adebayor’s irresponsible reaction to the torrent of abuse he received from Arsenal fans at the weekend, but Roma’s Daniele De Rossi was also subjected to offensive chants on Sunday. The Italian, however, dealt with the crowd banter a little differently.
After a mistimed tackle, Siena fans started singing a song about his father-in-law (i.e. the daddy of his not-unattractive WAG Tamara), who was apparently executed in a mafia hit last year. When the whistle blew, the midfielder’s reddened eyes quickly turned into full-on waterworks, as his teammates tried to console him.
Siena manager Marco Giampaolo offered an apology on behalf of the callous fans:
“To De Rossi, I express my solidarity as a man and as a footballer for what has happened.”

Blackburn gaffer shows his sensitive side to Aussie musicians
There are only two things in this world that can reduce Sam Allardyce to tears: Rafa Benitez’s mean gestures, and the new single by Australian indie rockers The Panics.
Singer Jae Laffer said: “People at our label are friendly with Sam and invited him to hear us. It went well - he even shed a tear.”

Bless Him
Barcelona’s Bojan is starting to crack under La Liga pressure
If anyone wishes to see the dangers of thrusting a young footballer into the limelight too quickly, they should consider Barcelona’s eighteen-year-old sensation Bojan Krkić. The striker was called up to international duty before making the full Barca team, and last season broke Raul’s record for most goals in a debut season (ten).
However, he has made little impact this season, and ol’ Terry Henry replaced him during a match with Getafe on Sunday, the poor little chap burst into a flood of tears.
After complaints of illness and anxiety, it looks like the pressure is really getting to him.

Deadline Day Aftermath
British transfer record smashed in Man City coup

Over the weekend Brazilian Man-O’-Sex Robinho held his own press conference to tell us all how his ‘head is in Chelsea‘, yet last night night he became the first purchase of that new Arabian team in Manchester. Following the £32.5m record transfer, Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon revealed the slightly unstable nature of his former employee:
“We decided that the best thing was for him to leave. He has an emotional problem that is worse than he thought. Every time I have spoken to him he has cried.”
To paint a more detailed picture of Robinho’s highly professional acumen, Calderon confirmed that the 24-year-old winger/ second striker cares more for the good paper than
