Follow the Champions League draw live on The Spoiler

All the quarter-final and semi-final fixtures will published here

Representatives of all eight Champions League semi-finalists are gathered in Nyon for the draw, which was scheduled to start at 11am. You haven’t missed anything yet though - just UEFA general secretary David Taylor explaining how they manage to make such a simple process so complicated and a few video packages being shown to drag things out. The full draw will be published below as soon as the serious business begins:

Quarter-final draw:

Villarreal v Arsenal

Manchester United v Porto

Liverpool v Chelsea

Barcelona v Bayern Munich

Semi-final draw:

Manchester United/Porto v Villarreal/Arsenal

Barcelona/Bayern Munich v Liverpool/Chelsea

Interesting stats:

» The side drawn to play the second-leg at home have won the previous three Chelsea/Liverpool Champions League clashes - handing the Blues the advantage.

» Porto eliminated Manchester United the last time they met them in the knockout stages.

» Last season every single quarter-final and semi-final was won by the team drawn to play the first leg away. If that happens again we will have an Arsenal/Chelsea final

Eight reasons Spurs and Villa will draw tonight

Premier League, 8pm, Setanta Sports 1, Free £10 bet

2008 Premier League - Aston Villa Vs Spurs

Last season, Aston Villa visited White Hart Lane on a Monday night and it wound up being a thriller, with Spurs coming back from 4-1 down to earn a point.

2. Two of the last three contests between the two in North London have finished level.

3. In addition, four of the last six ties between the two at either ground have finished up as a draw.

4. Tottenham’s loss

Was the Champions League draw fixed?

Quarter-final ties correctly predicted 90 minutes before the draw

Liverpool Echo

I’m not usually one for crazy conspiracy theories, but this one looks relatively credible. At 10.28 this morning, someone posted a thread on the Liverpool Echo forum (see it here) correctly predicting the Champions League quarter-final ties. No bookies were taking bets on the ties all morning either, suggesting some sort of shenanigans were going down:

Rumour going around draw has been leaked….. this is no doubt rubbish but if Rumour is true it’s LFC - arsenal and Chelsea - fenerbache and manure v roma
No bookies will take bets on the draw either…….
Let the draw commence. Comeeee on!

If my maths are correct (which they probably aren’t), there’s a 1 in 64 chance of this chap correctly predicting the ties, and it’s mighty
