Tottenham star arrested after racist rant and assault

Ledley King is no stranger to the art of drinking too much and starting a fight (see here, here and here), but he massively improved on his own impressive inebriation benchmark on a visit to London’s Punk club on Saturday night. While demanding entry to the Soho nightspot, the classy Tottenham star dished out some racism and violence, which led to a night in the cells. The Sun say:
The Tottenham captain, who had been out in the West End following his team’s 0-0 draw with Everton, spent the night in a sparse cell in a police station.
[Bouncer] Wahib said: “He was so drunk we told him to come back when he was more sober.
“He walked across the road, opened his trousers and urinated all over the pavement in front of everybody. He came back and was so close to my face I could feel his spit on me.
“He started shouting,

Sunderland forward paints the town red before Chelsea game
Prior to joining Liverpool in 2002, Senegalese forward El-Hadji Diouf told The Guardian:
“If I go out, party and still score goals on the pitch, no one will be able to write bad things about me.”
According to The Sun, the Sunderland party animal completely lived up to his mantra prior to getting spanked at Stamford Bridge at the weekend. Except for the part about scoring goals:
Sunderland star El-Hadji Diouf drank champagne in a trendy bar just hours before his team were thumped 5-0 by Chelsea.Less than 48 hours later he came on as a substitute as his side were drubbed by London giants Chelsea at their Stamford Bridge ground.
The Senegalese forward was with fellow Black Cats stars Pascal Chimbonda, 29, and Djibril Cisse, 27, at Newcastle’s Living Room bar.
They were there to celebrate the birthday of striker Obafemi Martins, who plays for arch-rivals Newcastle United.
Can you imagine what the argument will be like when Roy Keane confronts Diouf about this picture? When two of the scariest men in football face off, the effect will be something akin to Armageddon in the north east. But with a lot more spitting.

Football Holiday
His name is Rio etc…

We’ve already been treated to the Ferdinand brothers in their going-out holiday clothes - Rio, in particular, was experimenting with see-through materials. But now, here they are teaching the average gent how to enjoy some quality Tel Aviv beach time during the day. See how Rio casually takes his cocktail into the sea with him? That’s the sign of a very confident swimmer. Or someone who’s drunk.
