This won’t end well…
One wouldn’t think Jose Mourinho takes criticism in his stride. Having called Arsene Wenger a ‘voyeur’ for offering some opinions on his Chelsea side, called affable Claudio Ranieri ‘old’ for questioning his special attitude, and told Carlo Ancelotti that he is, ‘ no friend of mine,’ after he softly questioned Inter’s style, the evidence seems fairly damning.
Enter Samuel Eto’o, who in the aftermath of Inter’s home draw with Kiev, decided to criticise Jose’s tactics:
“Things were much better in the second half with Suazo alongside me. It’s a mistake to go with one striker playing at home. We have to take more risks and have two players upfront.”
Can Jose risk dropping his main man? Or will he at last learn to tolerate a bit of criticism?

Scolari aims to pick up where Jose left off
Luis Felipe Scolari met his many of his squad for the first time yesterday, and things are certainly looking promising for the Blues: the Brazilian has already introduced Deco to the camp, and Rom’s bottomless kitty could bring in the likes of Kaka, Ronaldinho, Arshavin and Eto’o.
However, Scolari has been out of the domestic game for nearly eight years, and it could take him months to acclimatise to the nuances of the English game. Only one man has ever been able to lift the Premier League trophy in his first season at a club - a cocky Portuguese chap who came fresh from winning two consecutive league titles, the UEFA Cup and the Champions league with his previous outfit.
So will Big Phil’s pedigree and Chelsea’s limitless resources be enough to secure the Blues their third Prem title this century? Let us know what you think with votes and comments below.

There is no time to rest in football. Ferguson might have been dancing on the tables last night, but he’d have been back at his desk this morning with a muesli bar from a garage to plan how to best inflict pain on others come August.
Today’s transfer rumours read like this:
Dimitar Berbatov to Manchester United
Wow, where did this one come from? Who knew that Berbs wanted to leave? Might it have something to do with his agent demanding that he leave? As things stand United are front-runners, with Ferguson after a mature football mind to spearhead his attack. But there have also been increasingly fervent whispers echoing in from Barcelona insisting that he can go there if he wants to. Sir Alex will have to be at his most charming and flirtatious to bag this puppy. So to speak.
Samuel Eto’o to Inter Milan
More bad news Spurs. Apparently Inter are set to stroll up to the Barca striker and casually ask whether he’d like to join the Italian champions or the eleventh best Premier League side.

Samuel Eto’o gets his paparazzo on
After scoring in hat-trick in a 5-1 drubbing of Levante on Sunday, Barcelona’s Samuel Eto’o pulled a fantastic new goal celebration out of the bag.
The Cameroonian marched over to a waiting photographer, took his camera and snapped teammates Bojan Krkić and Carles Puyol. The resulting photo was then published on the front cover of sports paper Mundo Deportivo (bottom right in the video below).
