We have all heard of heading for the corner flag to waste a bit of time, but this action (and I use the term loosely) from last night’s match between Swedish sides IFK Norrköping and GAIS (schoolboy snigger) takes the biscuit. With his team 0-1 down in the 89th minute, a Norrköping defender concedes a corner quite cheaply and probably had nightmares about his decision last night. What followed was SEVEN consecutive corners. GAIS had one man in the box and had no intention of crossing the ball. They just wanted to hit those over eager defenders who were encroaching on the corner and never seemed to learn their lesson. “Let’s charge at him faster.
