J-League fan turns cloth and pole into offensive weapon
Midfielder Alex has plied his trade in Japan since 2002, but in a recent game playing for Kashiwa Reysol, he may be thinking about a transfer away from the J-League and its intimidating fans.
While attempting to take a corner, the Brazilian was tapped lightly forcefully struck on the head by a flag-wielding supporter. The incident may have caused no wound whatsoever, but is must have been extremely painful - why else would he roll around on the floor in apparent agony for several minutes?
