CR7
Winger will have somewhere to go after training next season

Last summer we were the first to tell you about CR7, the fashion boutique that Cristiano Ronaldo opened in Madeira and gave to his sister Elma. Since then, the Manchester Utd star has opened another CR7 in Lisbon, and the Spanish press are today getting their knickers in a twist over the location of the next store: Madrid.
The front page of sports paper Marca says he is to bring his fabulous fashion sense to the Spanish capital, and that this is yet another indication of his strong desire to play for Real madrid next season.
Marca also suggests that the store may be named ‘CR9′, as the only way he could wear a number seven shirt at Real would be if he pried it from Raul’s cold, dead hands. It just so happens that he has also trademarked the CR9 name.
While C-Ron has made little attempt to disguise his desire to play in La Liga, The Spoiler has discovered that the new store opening may not be as indicative of a summer transfer as Marca believe. According to the official CR7 site, there are plans to open stores in Paris, Milan, Madrid, London, Berlin, Prague, Tokyo and Los Angeles. (Sorry Manchester, no silver hotpants and Freddie Mercury jackets for you.)

The C-Ron Saga
Manchester Utd star remains aloof in Portugal

Cristiano Ronaldo is supposed to have his post-summer holiday showdown with Sir Alex Ferguson in Manchester today, and the British press seem to be assuming that the player will acquiesce to his club’s demands and play for another season. The Spanish tabloids, however, are painting a different story.
According to Marca, he will not return to Manchester for the dreaded hairdryer session. Yesterday, they found the tricky winger in a clinic in Lisbon, where he refused to comment and risk the ‘ongoing negotiations’ between Real Madrid and Manchester Utd.
Reportedly, Ronny will soon return to Amsterdam for another ankle consultation, after which he will ‘return to his home and wait’. Marca do not seem too concerned with the trifling detail that his ‘home’ is in Manchester.
UPDATE: Some media outlets are claiming Ronaldo isn’t due back today, but rather later in the week.

Foot and Mouth
Man Utd star finds out his face is quite far away from his feet

After discovering that spending weeks in California hard at it with models did nothing to solve the mystery of his damaged ankle, Cristiano Ronaldo is now back in Lisbon, and has really started to scrape the barrel for explanations.
According to Spanish rag Marca, the tricky winger and his agent Jorge Mendes visited a ‘prestigious’ Portuguese dentist to discover whether his ankle problems were caused by a badly placed dental plate. Apparently, this isn’t as stupid as it sounds, as many physical ailments stem from buccal problems.
Ronny’s dental trip was inconclusive, but private dentists all around the world will no doubt be rubbing their hands together thinking of all the folks with too much money and minor foot pangs who will be paying them a visit after hearing this news…
