WAG of the Day
A French model, actress and all-round classy lady
As the ladies at Kickette will testify, Bordeaux’s Yoann Gourcuff is a much sought-after target for potential WAGs. The midfielder appears to be off the market for the time being though, as he was spotted enjoying a fancy dinner with model and actress Marie Steiss-de Villepinin New York last week.
Marie isn’t exactly the type of girl to who would hang out with at Faces and then pose for Nuts after rooting a Spurs player: she is the daughter of former French PM Dominique de Villepin, she has a law degree and she has modelled for the likes of Givenchy.

BIG FIGHT PREVIEW
Joe Calzaghe v Roy Jones Jr, Setanta Sports 1, Free Bets, Best Odds

Joe Calzaghe is 7/2 to win what could be his final ever fight by knockout at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night so our brothers at chickendinner have been looking at the stats to see what chance there is of that happening. Here’s what they found out:
Will there be a knockout victory?
» Calzaghe has won two of his three fights on foreign shores by knockout but he required a split decision to overcome Hopkins in Nevada earlier this year.
» Five of Calzaghe’s last six fights have gone to a decision as have each of Jones Jr’s last three since he lost successive fights by knockout in 2004.
» Calzaghe has won just one of his last three fight’s against Americans by knockout (33%) whereas the overall percentage of his victories that have come by knockout is 71%.

Mr Underpants eats
Will the strolls and lunches never cease?

At a sprightly 31-years-old, it looks like Freddie Ljungberg - until a few days ago presumed missing (by The Spoiler) - might have hung up his boots for good. The big question is whether the goal-scoring underpants model has gone to New York to craft some kind of alternative career in fashion.
He’s been spotted brunching at all the right diners, he’s spent years showcasing stupid hairstyles, and ridiculous trousers. He’s definitely got what it takes. But can he correctly oscillate between heavy drug use and bulimia? Only then could he truly make it in the fashion business.
Talking of which, it’s London Fancy Dress Week at the moment, and below is a picture from it….

Missing Person
Panic over, we’ve got him…

Anyone who has ever been sacked from their job already knows all about that great feeling of having nothing to do - it’s excellent, until you suddenly realise that, seriously dude, you have nothing to do. Not anything. You needn’t even get dressed. You could die like this. Which leads us conveniently to Sweden’s most famous unemployed footballer, Fredrik Ljungberg.
Ever since he was royally dismissed by West Ham, The Spoiler has been a trifle concerned about the speedy underpants model. Would he ever play again? Without all the vigorous training, might his great bod suffer? Where will he go?
Well, thankfully, one of those questions was answered just this morning, when pictures of the ex-footballer filtered through our postbox, showing him having a fantabulous time in New York with a set of gargantuan women. They’re probably models too, we thought to ourselves, smoking a pipe.
Another pic after the jump…

The Beckhams

Like the Duke of Edinburgh, David Beckham always looks like a man struggling to understand what every single thought that goes through his head really means. The world is too damn confusing for these people. But, the similarities don’t end there. The prince of football now shares similar hotel tastes to the famously racist royal.
When his wife, Posh, booked in to do some New York shows with her pop group, The Spice Girls, rather than stay in humble(ish) digs downtown like the rest of the girls, she demanded to be put up in the
