Stroppy Bulgarian wants to make peace with former club
After some less-than enthused performances in a white shirt and a forced deadline day transfer, Dimitar Berbatov wants to make peace with the Premier League’s most sensitive fans:
“I will always have special feelings for Tottenham.”They showed me the way in English football. I will never have anything bad to say about the club. I watch every game they play.”
“Now Harry Redknapp has come in, a very experienced manager, and I am pleased they are going up the table.”
So, Spurs fans, should the Manchester Utd striker be forgiven for refusing to play games and for putting in sub-par performances until he got his own way? Or is this a woeful attempt to hush the inevitable din that will greet him when Manchester Utd visit the Lane next month?
