Unlike The Sun - who claim to have had an inside line on the Cristiano Ronaldo Real Madrid transfer, but in reality have just lazily re-printed stories from the Spanish press - The Spoiler has a mole in the C-Ron camp.
He/she managed to procure a copy of the pre-contract agreement between Ramon Calderon and the Portuguese star, and we have re-printed it below for your consideration…
Manchester Utd chief exec sets a steep price for star player
If Real Madrid are to land long-term transfer target Cristiano Ronaldo, they will have to break the world transfer record for a second time this month, according to Marca.
Today’s edition of the Spanish paper says Los Blancos have already had contact with Manchester Utd chief executive David Gill, who set the price for the Portuguese star at a whopping €96m.
Gill, Marca understands, is said to be completely unwilling to lower this price, despite the negotiation attempts of Madrid president Florentino Perez.
Barcelona-based paper AS corroborate the story, but they believe the transfer figure to be a paltry €89m. Apparently, this will be paid in bite-sized instalments, and the deal will go through before July 30th, so as to avoid the €30m compensation clause set out in Ronaldo’s pre-contract agreement with disgraced former president Ramon Calderon.
As also say that C-Ron’s shit-stirring agent Jorge Mendes will make a killing from the deal, taking home a commission in the region of €8.7m.
Ramon Calderon’s pre-contract agreement rears its ugly head
In a development that Catalan newspaper Sport are calling “Another poisoned inheritance from [Ramon] Calderon,” it has emerged that Real Madrid are financially obligated to sign Cristiano Ronaldo before June 30th.
According to the terms pre-contract deal C-Ron agreed with the disgraced former president, if he does not become a Madrid player by the end of this month, the club will owe him €30m in compensation.
Sport do not imply that Los Blancos are no longer interested in the Portuguese star, but they believe current president Florentino Perez has been put between a rock and a hard place by the pre-contract agreement. If they do not find a way to un-do Calderon’s handiwork, they face the prospect
Portuguese star may be forced to stay in rainy Manchester
The Spanish press are claiming Cristiano Ronaldo is frantic with worry over the imminent collapse of his much touted escape from the reigning Premier League, European and World champions.
Today’s edition of Marcasays C-Ron fears his chances of a move to Los Blancos will be ruined by the arrival of Franck Ribery, who is said to have already agreed a big money deal with incumbent president Florentino Perez.
However, the alleged concern from Ronaldo’s camp comes in stark contrast to news just in from the Daily Mirror, who say Madrid are willing to pay Ronaldo a lean £200,000 a week for the privilege of his services. They add that Perez will be happy to honour the provisional £75m deal agreed with disgraced former Madrid president Ramon Calderon.
He doesn’t even work there any more but he still won’t shut up
Despite resigning from his position as Real Madrid president in disgrace three months ago, Ramon Calderon has still somehow found a way to reignite the Cristiano Ronaldo transfer saga.
Calderon cryptically revealed that he had arranged a deal to bring a world-class player to the Spanish capital before leaving the club. He said:
“I can’t give any names. What I can say is that one of the best players in the world, thanks to Ramon Calderon and difficult and laborious negotiations that having been going on since last year, is already formally a Real Madrid player, subject obviously to him being able to sign the relevant contract.”
Ronaldo is understandably the name everyone is mentioning although, if Calderon is telling the truth, it’s hard to believe Manchester United would have agreed to anything. A more plausible candidate is perhaps David Villa, whose club Valencia are far more likely to be open to offers.
La Liga side confident on landing Manchester Utd star, interested in resigning Becks
Last summer, Real Madrid made absolutely no secret of their desire to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, and equally, the player made no secret of his desire to leave the World Club Cup holders and join the second best team in Spain. Former Madrid president Ramon Calderon has added more fuel to the transfer fire, by claiming the Portuguese star will make the move this summer. In a self-congratulatory statement, he said: “Thanks to the work I’ve done, he’ll join when this season ends.”
In more surprising news, it has been reported that Los Blancos will hijack AC Milan’s attempts to rescue David Beckham from Los Angeles. According to a ‘top Madrid source’ in The Sun, prospective Real president Florento Perez will spend £10m to bring Beckham back to the Bernebeu if he is elected in the summer.
(It’s worth noting that Real Madrid presidential candidates will say absolutely anything if they think it will help them get elected. Calderon, for example, promised Kaka, Fabregas and Cristiano Ronaldo in his re-election campaign.)
Ramon Calderon has been Real Madrid’s president since 2006, but thanks to a scandal published in Spanish newspaper Marca, the 58-year-old lawyer will be forced to resign today. Calderon stands accused of winning and securing the Presidency via a terribly naughty system of vote rigging. Four Four Two report:
“The presidential team snuck through people who did not have the right to vote to approve the accounts,” claims the paper.
Marca is reporting that Calderón and members of the team that helped win him Madrid’s presidential election in 2006 rigged the Assembly vote - a poll concerning matters such as the approval of the club’s accounts and budgets.
Marca claims that this vote rigging was achieved with the help of fake “compromisarios” (club members possessing voting rights) whose membership had expired or who did not have enough tenure to legally fulfill the role. It’s a bit like when Sideshow Bob became Mayor of Springfield by counting the votes of the deceased.
The man to whom Alex Ferguson would not “sell a virus” held a press conference on Wednesday denying his role in these shenanigans, but is expected to allow Vice President Vicente Bolouda to take the hot seat later today.
Manchester Utd gaffer isn’t Los Merengues’ biggest fan
Shortly after today’s incredibly important match with Gamba Osaka, Sir Alex was given his first chance to respond to the rumours that Cristiano Ronaldo will be off to Spain in the summer. The fiery Scot, who lists horse racing and slagging off Ramon Calderon among his hobbies, seemed to be a little angry about the alleged “gentleman’s agreement”:
“Would I get into a contract with that mob? Absolutely no chance,” he said.
“I wouldn’t sell them a virus - that’s a no. There’s no agreement whatsoever between the clubs.
“We just have to ignore it because if we keep worrying about what Real Madrid say then we’re not concentrating on our programme of difficult games we’ve got coming up, so I’ve got to ignore it.
It’s been clear for a long time that Fergie is not a fan of Los Blancos, but will this be enough to keep the Portuguese man-o’-sex away from the Bernabéu? There’s only one way to settle it - vote now!
