BBC’s Prem highlights package ‘borrows’ idea from The Spoiler
When Adrian Chiles is at the helm, Match of the Day 2 is always preferable to its Saturday night sibling. However, with the Brummie currently heading home from the land of the rising pollution, Ray Stubbs filled in on Sunday night.
The most notable feature to suffer in Chiles’ absence was ‘2 Good 2 Bad’, where the premise is to feature two good and two bad clips from the weekend’s action. This week, the Beeb only felt it necessary to highlight one humorous observation (we were not told whether it was good or bad), namely Kevin Keegan’s constant inclination to touch people faces. Yup, that’s the same thing that The Spoiler highlighted three-and-a-half months ago.
It’s fine to steal ideas from the interweb MOTD2, but try to do it a little quicker in future…
