Jose Mourinho’s new Italian home has a helipad

The Special One purchases a fittingly special property

Jose Mourinho

Just uner four weeks ago, Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho purchased a beautiful property in the picturesque Portuguese town of Setubal (pictured above). This sprawling villa is simply lovely, but its location some 2,100km away from the new office makes it a tad inconvenient. Hence, the Special One has splashed out on a new pad on the edge of Laka Como, about 50km north of Milan.

In addition to stunning views, the new place has a swimming pool, tennis courts, marble floors and carefully selected antique furniture for his beloved pooch Gullit to make a mess of. The mansion also has a helipad, meaning trips into Milan that would take an hour or so by road can be completed in minutes.

The property was previously owned by Italian multi-millionaire industrialist Antonio Ratti, who died in 2002.

As soon as we find pictures of Jose’e new crib, we’ll let you know.
