National newspaper delivers the latest two-month-old David Beckham news

The Sun arouse our pedantic side with shockingly slow reporting

David Beckham’s rose tattoo

Those who perused page three of this today’s Sun newspaper and managed to look beyond the talents of Rhian, 23, from Manchester, will have seen an article entitled “Roses for Becks“. It reveals the fact that David Beckham has celebrated his tenth wedding anniversary by getting ten roses inked around his left bicep.

It’s a nice story and a very romantic gesture, but for some reason it’s giving us a terrible case of déjà vu. Oh that’s right, he got the tattoo in July to coincide with his wedding anniversary, and most other media outlets reported it two months ago.

Do try to keep up, chaps.

(In the meantime, we’ll keep picking up on things like this, while encouraging everyone to ignore the general hypocrisy and childlike errors of this site.)

Theo Walcott gets ink done

Arsenal forward will now feel more comfortable in biker bars

Theo Walcott looks like too much of a nice young man to get a huge tattoo on his bicep, but that is exactly what he has done with the help of a certain swooshy sportswear manufacturer. The same manufacturer who used to make (Fat) Ronaldo do things against his will. Just saying.

WAG No. 307: Krystell Sidwell

The reason for one of the worst tattoos ever

Krystell Sidwell

Despite sexy competition from the likes of Michaela Henderson-Thynne, Nicola Tappenden, Elle Isaac and Jadene Bircham, Krystell Sidwell was voted the best supporting lady in ITV2 series WAGs Boutique.

The young blonde met Aston Villa’s Steve Sidwell ten years ago while at school, and clearly made an impression on him - following their wedding in 2005, he had their 100 word wedding vows tattooed on his back.

Robbie Keane gets a tattoo

Irishman finds way of making himself slightly less pale

Robbie Keane gets ink done

We’re not sure hold old this photo is, but we expected Robbie Keane to have a slightly better physique. Shouldn’t all those cartwheel and six-shooter celebrations have given him killer abs?

SEXY UPDATE! Robbie isn’t the only Spurs star to permanently desecrate his skin. Our friends at Popbitch have discovered a MySpace page dedicated to inked ‘ballers and some stunning fan body art.

David Beckham gets yet another tattoo

Mrs Beckham fears husband is addicted to ink

David Beckham gets a new tattoo

Presumably after having spent enough time with the wife and kids this Christmas, David Beckham went off to see his old friend Louis Malloy, the Mancunian artist responsible for most of the decorations on the MLS/ Serie A star’s skin.

Mr B’s new tattoo is written in Hebrew (a wise choice seeing that the Hindi etching of “Victoria” on his arm is misspelled), and reads: “My son, do not forget my teaching but keep my commands in your heart.”

Posh Spice, who has more tattoos than a nineteenth century sailor, is apparently worried that her husband is addicted to getting ink done, and wants him to leave some skin unmarked. She probably didn’t feel the same way, however, when he had a naked robo-spice tribute forever drawn onto his forearm…
