Striker asks us not to write off the Gunners just yet

Despite being ten points off the pace, Emmanuel Adebayor still insists Arsenal can make a spectacular title challenge if they “win three or four games straight away”. This seems incredibly optimistic, but to be fair to him, he wouldn’t be doing anyone any favours if he said, “Our season is pretty much over so we’re just going to ride this one out.”

During an interview with Sky Sports, the tough Togolese hitman attempted to justify Arsenal’s tough season by toughly remarking that the league is tough for everyone:

“It is tough for us, it is tough for Liverpool, it is tough for Chelsea and it is tough for Manchester United.”
