It’s a slow day transfer-wise, but we are pleased to announce that the podgy Egyptian forward Mido is no longer on the Marlon Brando career path. After apologising to Boro fans for weighing more than a medium sized aircraft last season, he has shed two stone. Bravo, sir.

World’s scariest man becomes a little less intimidating

This delightful looking chap is cage fighter Melvin Costa, who plays his trade in the ‘King of the Cage’ organisation (it’s much like UFC, but with minimalist rules and a few more neo-Nazis).

Costa does happen to have a rather detailed design on his skull and some full blown Nazi insignia across his chest, but these are not the worst of his inking
