MONEY-MAKING MULTIPLE
Our attempt to turn a £10 note into ten £10 notes

The Spoiler has a bit of a soft spot for Chris Hughton but he let us down badly last night by leaving the Hare well and truly malnourished at Bramall Lane - using him in only the last six minutes to render yesterday’s bet null and void.
Today, we’re taking no chances, pursuing an accumulator so that nothing besides the weather and floodlight failure can rule the bet pointless. We’re looking to turn £10 into £104.70 by backing Juventus, Porto, Wolfsburg and Manchester United to win tonight. Here’s why:
Maccabi Haifa v Juventus - The Israelis have lost all three of their matches so far without scoring.
APOEL v Porto - Porto won their first group meeting and over the past three seasons, whenever they do that they go on to complete a double.
Besiktas v Wolfsburg - A big ask, although Besiktas have lost four of their last ten home games and have scored just once this season in Europe.
Manchester United v CSKA Moscow - United are unbeaten in 23 Champions League matches at Old Trafford, of which they have won 18.
Combine these four together using the Betfair Coupon and you stand to win over ten times your initial stake!

TRANSFER TALK
A further helping of transfer gossip, rumours and damned lies

Carlos Tevez to Manchester City
Goal claim to have heard from an unnamed source that Tevez has chosen Man City over Chelsea and that the deal will be finalised next Monday, which is when Cristiano Ronaldo is scheduled to be officially unveiled at Real Madrid.
The Spoiler truth-o-meter: Confirming the capture of Tevez on the same day that Ronaldo is presented at the Bernabeu would be City’s way of firing out a warning to their neighbours that the tide is turning.
Luis Fabiano to AC Milan
Emmanuel Adebayor is no longer even a secondary target for AC Milan, who have chosen to chase Confederations Cup top-scorer Luis Fabiano after being

The latest transfer gossip, news and damned lies

Edin Dzeko to Tottenham
The Bosnian has put away nine goals in four games for Bundesliga leaders VfL Wolfsburg, but is unhappy that manager and mentor Felix Magath will be leaving the club for Schalke in the closed season. Accordingly, The Daily Mail report that the £12m-rated striker has caught the attention of Spurs.
The Spoiler truth-o-meter: He would fill the hole that crappy moody striker Roman Pavlyuchenko is likely to leave, but Arsenal, Manchester Utd, Everton and Blackburn are also keen.
Diego Forlan to Manchester City
The Uruguayan has been banging them in for fun at Atletico Madrid this season, and has become a City priority since a move for Barcelona-bound
